Who's telling you this
I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in August with a mechanical engineering degree.
Three consecutive summers at Lockheed Martin, in supplier quality. Before that, an internship at Intech Mechanical doing HVAC and sustainability compliance.
What I will be specific about is how I got there, because that's the part nobody shows you. SpaceX rejected me. So did a stack of other aerospace companies. I sent over a hundred cold LinkedIn messages and booked coffee chats with people at NASA, Tesla and Boeing before any of it worked.
I'm in the gym most days. Same thing as the rest of it — you show up on the days you don't feel like it, or the whole thing is just talk.
And I'm founder and CEO of Off Mute Studios, a business I built from nothing and still run. That's the part people assume takes talent. It takes a schedule.
